We want to make sure you feel confident and informed before your visit. Here are answers to several of our clients’ most commonly asked questions.

FAQs

What is a med spa?
A medical spa (med spa) is a facility that offers non-surgical services you’d find at an aesthetic medical center, as well as services available at many day spas. All med spa treatments are performed by trained and qualified professionals under a licensed physician’s supervision.
How do I find the best med spa near me?

It’s important you feel comfortable with the med spa you choose. While it can be tempting to search “Aesthetician services near me” and book an appointment with the closest clinic you see, we recommend learning more about the med spa team, services, policies, and facilities.

Additionally, for your safety, make sure your treatments will be provided by licensed aestheticians or experienced healthcare professionals. Unlike some med spas, every member of the It Aesthetix is trained in both aesthetic artistry and medical biology.

What services do you offer?

We offer a variety of services, including:

  • Wrinkle injectables
  • Dermal filler injectables
  • Brow and lash tinting
  • Lash lift
  • Brow lamination
  • Waxing
  • Laser hair removal
  • HydraFacials
  • Jet peels
  • Salt facials
  • Dermaplaning
  • Microneedling and PRP
How do I know which services to choose?
Everyone is different. The best treatment for one person may not be the right choice for another. To help you choose, we provide a consultation before your first treatment. Our licensed and trained professionals will recommend services and/or products based on your skin type and desired results to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
What are your staff’s qualifications?
All of our services are administered by surgically trained physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and licensed medical aestheticians. Our treatment providers are skilled in medical artistry and educated in the latest research and techniques.
What happens during an appointment?
Your first appointment will begin with a consultation. At the end of your consultation, we will discuss a custom treatment plan tailored to your unique goals. After your treatment, your provider will provide aftercare instructions and next steps to support the healing process and ensure the best results.
How long do treatments take?
Appointments vary by treatment, but most take less than 45 minutes.
What should I do before my appointment?

We recommend you avoid alcohol and blood-thinning pain relievers or supplements for at least five days before injectable or filler appointments. We also recommend avoiding direct sun exposure or Retinol and RetinA products for two weeks before peels and microneedling visits. Please clean your skin thoroughly and arrive make-up free.

Before your first appointment, be sure to complete our new client forms.

Is there a charge to change or cancel my appointment?

You will not be charged a fee if you cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment. However, any clients who cancel or reschedule their appointment less than 48 hours before their appointment will forfeit their $50 deposit.

If you need to make any changes to your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
